Bennett Mitchell Speck Is Home!!

God is SO GOOD!! After two months in the hospital, Baby Bennett was able to go home with his mommy and daddy today. He has come so far in the past two months and I know it is because of God's love and grace. Please continue to keep the Specks in your prayers as they settle into their new life with Bennett at home.

One Year Ago Today...

...we arrived in McKinney with all of our belongings. Sometimes it just amazes me that a year can go by so quickly. I still feel "new" here (all of our things are still packed away!) and it doesn't seem like we've been gone from Virginia that long, but we have. I have been a little down as this date has been approaching because Tim and I just aren't where we thought we'd be by now, but God's timing is just not the same as mine and I'm sure His is better. I am thankful, though, that Tim has a good job and that I am enjoying what I'm doing too. One year out of corporate America has been a very good thing for me! We've also made a lot of friends here and are blessed to be able to stay with family until we can buy a place of our own. Please pray for us as we try to make wise financial decisions with regard to buying a house and as we try to remain patient for the things in life (house, baby, etc.)that we want so badly.
