Cut and Paste...Cut and Paste
This is what I have been doing for the past 8 hours and I am seriously considering throwing myself in front of a train right about now!! Not really, but you get the picture. For the past two weeks, I have been developing an online survey for one of my clients and now I am working on a second one. It involves the most minute details and it is taking forever! I have had to go beyond what is offered in the survey tool’s templates to actually creating tables and hyperlinks in HTML. Now for some of you, this may be a breeze and may even be fun, but coming from a background in Industrial Organizational Psychology, I can honestly say that I have never been interested (and never will be!) in becoming a computer programmer!! However, that doesn’t seem to matter while I’m here at work. I am just a butt in a seat right now making the company more money :)! I don’t think I have uttered one word to anyone here at work for at least 5 or 6 hours. I have got to bust out of here!! Sorry all of you get the brunt of my complaining, but Tim runs rescue tonight so he will not be home to make me feel better (lucky for him!). Hopefully the season premiere of Alias will be just what I need to get me through Friday :)! Please tell me something good that happened to you today, so I can live vicariously through you!

I was listening to the radio on my way home from work last night and heard one of Lifehouse's new songs--You and Me. We're using it in our slide show, and I pictured watching the slide show in my dress from the doors of the auditorium...and then seeing Mike for the first time when I walk down the aisle, and I actually got teary-eyed! I know I am just going to bawl at our wedding, lol. Anyway, just another of those moments when it hit me that we are getting married soon.
That was my happy thing that happened to me.
1. It's cold outside. YEA!
2. I'm discovering new reasons to love my new DVR every day.
3. I got tickets to the Bon Jovi concert in December.
i get a little thrill every day when i feel the baby kick. she's getting bigger, so the movement is more noticable (and uncomfortable at times, especially when i have to use the restroom). but it's so nice to feel her!! and i agree with leann... the weather is definitely something to smile about!!
My birthday is tomorrow and lots of friends are coming out to pick pumpkins with Carl and I. After work, I'm going out with some friends from work to get a salad at Chili's and then, Carl is taking me to get some Hummus from Moby Dick's. Margie's shower is tonight. And the weather . . .
So I'm coming in a little late...but I have a feeling Alias didn't do all you hoped it would. But here's something that should make you smile...even laugh: http://www.televisionwithoutpity.com/story.cgi?show=75&story=8314
It's the Television Without Pity recap of the Alias season opener. I haven't read it yet, but it always makes my day better! :)
i didn't think the opener was that bad...but Alias as a whole needs to wrap up this whole Rambaldi thing...
yeah, I figured out how to post w/out startinga blog!! I'm so smart
Jill, if it makes you feel any better, my basic job is cutting and pasting, which is easier than some tasks, but it gets to be a pain after a while. Today pretty much all I am doing is cutting and pasting (and some editing too). bleah.
