House Hunt is Over!

Tim and I could not be more excited about our new home! We went out looking with our realtor last Saturday and while we were in one neighborhood where they are still building, she suggested that we just take a look at any spec homes they might have. We looked at two and just fell in love with one of them. I didn't want to get my hopes up, because it was WAY out of our price range, but our realtor told us there was a good chance we could get them to come down. We made an offer on Monday and found out Tuesday that they accepted it!! Last night we signed the contract and we will be closing no later than the 27th of this month. An extra bonus is that the house is in the same neighborhood as the school where I'm interviewing. It would be so incredibly awesome to work just down the street! More about the interview later...Our house was just finished in February and has 4 bedrooms with 2.5 bathrooms. It is just over 2500 square feet and those of you in VA would just have a heart attack if you knew what a bargain it is...much less than our 2 bedroom apartment in Herndon!
