I'm Still Here

Wow! I don't know if I've ever gone that long without a blog post! I have thought about writing many times, but have never been as busy as I've been since school started. I've had the constant feeling of just trying to keep my head above water so I don't drown in my numerous to-do lists. I definitely work more hours per week than I did in the corporate world, but for the most part, I enjoy it. I definitely want to add more, but I need to get to bed. Not to be the bearer of bad news, but I would like to ask that you keep me and Tim in your prayers. Just as we were getting out of the financial/job slump we've been in the past two years, Tim found out last Monday that he is being laid off. Surprisingly, we are taking this news pretty well. I think we have learned a lot over the past two years and we know that God will see us through this, just as he has through everything else. Our entire church is doing an in-depth study of Joseph and the trials he faced. Although God was silent for a long time, he was always with Joseph, and he continues to be with us. Just keep us in your prayers because we know He is listening to His children. Hope to update you with more info soon! One more thing...Happy birthday to Karin, the best mother-in-law in the world!!
