Happy Friday!

Today was such a great day! I had a sub job lined up for a kindergarten class that I had on Monday afternoon. I was actually kind of dreading it...not because the kids are bad, but because kindergarteners suck the energy out of you. When the alarm went off at 6 am, I was wondering why I had accepted the job and I was not at all ready to get up and face the day. I just wanted to sleep in. Thankfully, my body was starting to wake up by the time I left the house. Amazingly, the day just flew by and I'm not even tired. I had a couple of problem children, but overall they were good. I also got to socialize with the teachers more and I was able to introduce myself to the principal and the assistant principal. This school is awesome!! By the end of the day, I already had two more teachers line me up to sub for them.

Tim has been sick all week with an upper respiratory infection...NO FUN!! He started running a fever on Monday and by Tuesday he was really sick. We had to postpone my birthday festivities because he wasn't able to leave the house with his fever and coughing. My mom and grandma did take me out to eat, which was really nice, but it just isn't the same without Tim there. On Valentine's Day, Tim was still sick so I just made dinner for the two of us and we watched tv. Thankfully he went to the doctor yesterday and was able to start taking some antibiotics last night. He still has a bad cough today, but he's feeling up to going out to celebrate! We are going to go to Cheesecake Factory tonight and see the movie Breach after dinner. I can't wait!
