Happy Mother's Day

Hope all of you moms and expectant moms had a wonderful day today! Did you all know that I currently have 15 pregnant friends?! I am trying my best to keep up with when everyone is due and whether my friends are having a boy or a girl, but I know I will get confused at some point! I am so very excited for my friends, but I also cannot wait to share in that celebration myself. I actually had several people wish me a Happy Mother's Day today and then say, "Oh, never mind!" I have a few friends who are having infertility issues and I just can't imagine hearing those words if I were going through that. Anyway, I know the women who said it (one was a family member) did not mean anything bad by it...I'm just a little sensitive since I have had so many friends struggle to get pregnant. Anyway, I obviously got off on a tangent there and didn't mean to!

As you may have noticed, I have not blogged in a while. I have been keeping busy with teaching and with decorating the house. I just love this place! I have also avoided blogging because I was hoping to wait until I had good news about a job. I have had several interviews and feel good about them, but don't know anything official yet. I have two more interviews tomorrow...one at my existing school and another in a different district. I hope to have news to share with you soon! Only 17 more days of school left, but who's counting right?!
