Well, after a year and a half of looking for a permanent job in Texas and after 5 interviews at the same school, I FINALLY have a job!! Praise the Lord! I will be teaching first grade at Norton Elementary in Allen. I could not be happier :)! The team seems great and I just love the administration there. The principal had me interview with the third grade and first grade teams this week. I was really hoping I would get first grade and sure enough, that's what she offered me.
I got a call yesterday from a friend from church who is a teacher in another district. She was so excited because she found out that I would be at Norton next year and she had just found out that she got the third grade position. Little did we know that we were both interviewing there! I am so thrilled to have a friend at work already and it is so comforting to know that there are several Christians (I know of some others) in this building. It truly is a God thing and I know He put me in this school for a reason. This news will definitely help me get through the next 13 days of school! Thank you all SO very much for all of the prayers you have said for me!
