Gone to be with God

This past Saturday, my cousins' uncle, Bobby Murcer, passed away after a battle with brain cancer. Bobby is best known for his baseball career with the Yankees, but to them he was just Uncle Bobby. I remember telling people when I was a kid that I was related to him, when actually that's a little stretch of the truth! I last saw him about a year ago at my cousin Robin's wedding and although he was still sick, he seemed to be doing much better. Unfortunately, he recently took a turn for the worse. I am thankful that God gave him the time that He did, though, and that Bobby is no longer in any pain. I pray that God will comfort his wonderful wife, Kay, his kids and their families, and my three cousins.
