Well, Spring Break is officially over, but I did not get called today for work. I'm not surprised, though, considering the teachers just had a week off and most would want to be there for today. Luckily, I already have the rest of the week (except Thursday) booked!

Tim had a great week last week at work! He got seven applications (his goal is 3-4 per week) and he exceeded his commission goal! I am very proud of him. We both agreed that if he did that every week, we'd be set. Here's hoping he has another great week!!

Did you all know that we go to church with the mayor of McKinney? How cool is that?! We met him yesterday at church and he is a character. Last night we tried a new small group (one that the Lees have been to). I loved the people and could definitely see myself being a part of the group. They all have children already, but that doesn't make me feel out of place at all. They were so welcoming and I know I'd fit in with the girls. The problem is that Tim and I can't seem to agree on what group to be apart of. I know it seems kind of silly to fret about, but it is a somewhat important decision. I didn't think we'd ever agree on where to go to church :). He liked this new group, but he seems to fit better with the "marrieds without kids" group. I like some of them, but the girls are 4-6 years younger than me and it really makes a difference. I don't mean that in a condescending way at all, but most of them just graduated from college and it is harder for me to relate to them. Overall, the guys are younger too, but a few are closer to our age. We are probably the youngest in the group with kids, but I'd say they are probably 30-35. I just click with that group better because I feel like they are more mature and I can learn things from what they've gone through. Any ideas how to resolve this? I want us both to feel close to people at church.

I'm reading an awesome book right now called Disappointed with God by Philip Yancey. His insight just wows me! I hope to finish it today and post about it soon if I can wrap my arms around some of the material. Hope you all have a happy Monday!
